Teguise inaugurates the traditional municipal Nativity Scene located in the Plaza Camilo José Cela, inviting a tour through different points of the municipality with a special stop at the Historic Site of the Villa de Teguise and its architectural beauty.
The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, thanked the residents for their presence "at this traditional Christmas event, which serves as a prelude to the many events designed by and for the people of Teguise" and congratulated those responsible for assembling the new landscape representation that showcases its artistic quality in the well-known Plaza del Hoyo de la Villa. He also invited the people of Lanzarote "to visit the Nativity Scene and join each initiative organized in Teguise to enjoy these special dates as a family."
On Friday night, the Villa also hosted a performance by the Acatife group and the Tenerife University Foundation in a concert honoring Juan Brito.
The program continued on Saturday with the first Tempoko Solidarity Festival in the Plaza de Los Leones and with the Christmas Lunch for Seniors at the Monument, as well as the Choral Meeting in the Church of the Villa de Teguise.
