The streets near the royal residence of Las Maretas will undergo changes in traffic directions. Thus, Calle Real will temporarily become two-way, a road that until now was only downhill.

The streets El Salinero and Los Rocales will also experience changes, as they can only be circulated in the Costa Teguise-Las Caletas direction. The Teguise City Council has modified the traffic in these streets to improve the road network in this area, coinciding with the upcoming visit to the island of the President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who will once again spend his summer vacation in Lanzarote for another year.

From the City Council, it is advised that, due to these modifications in traffic directions, drivers exercise caution, in addition to regretting any possible inconveniences that these changes may generate.
