Teguise already has the winners of the II Young Creators Contest. "They are our new artists and we hope to motivate them with these awards to continue working in the line of creation", said the Councilor for Youth, Daniel Morales.
In the narrative category, the first prize went to Pablo Silva Jiménez, while in graphic design it went to Elena Martín. Both will receive a prize of 500 euros. Regarding the categories of photography and graffiti, the jury has decided to declare the first prize void. The second prizes went to Omaira Díaz and Jorge David Murillo, respectively, with an endowment of 250 euros. Some categories have also been left vacant, according to reports from the Consistory.
The awarded works will be exhibited in the Palacio Spínola- Museo del Timple de Teguise and one of them, as in the previous edition, will serve as the basis for the poster of the III Young Creators Contest. "Next year we intend to promote this contest by giving it greater dissemination and reaching a greater number of young people through the Council", said the Youth Councilor.
