Last Monday, the town of Tahíche met the beauties who will compete to become the Queen of the Santiago Apóstol Festivities. In a presentation gala, the candidates paraded for a first contact with the public and the jury.
They all made a spectacular entrance by motorcycle to the pavilion of the Tahíche Sociocultural Center, where those present were anxiously waiting for them, who later were able to enjoy a parade of the girls dressed in street clothes.
Eva Curbelo, Marta Santos, Gloria Sepúlveda, María Paiser, Cristina Rojas and Laura Pérez are the aspirants to the title. The dance groups Tahíche dance, Guaracay and Liberty Dance enlivened the event, as well as Fran Vega, with his funky performance.
Sunday, July 25 is the expected day. The candidates will leave behind the nerves, and the chosen ones will be crowned in a gala that will take place at 9:00 p.m. in the same place.
