Boys and girls from the Second Grade of Primary School of Antonio Zerolo visited the Arrecife Town Hall this Monday to learn about its operation. The mayoress, Eva de Anta, received them in the plenary hall, where they presented their proposals to improve the city, although they had previously visited the Education Department, where the technicians had advised them on the operation of a plenary session and the functions of each one.
De Anta was delighted to greet the little mayoress Manuela, who led the plenary session with ease before 'councilors'. The schoolchildren, aged between 6 and 7 years old, proposed from an improvement of the cleaning in Arrecife to the use of new technologies, corroborating that they had prepared each one of their interventions.
The mayoress thanked the boys and girls "for the interest and concern shown", as well as the ideas suggested that "have a common objective, a more beautiful and accessible city". "It is a pride to listen to this type of suggestions that I receive with much respect and affection", she pointed out.
