The workers of the Roadside Service of Lanzarote, recently subrogated to the Temporary Union of Companies formed by Señalcom SL and Aceinsa SA, have distanced themselves from the statements that a group of employees made this past Monday to La Voz. They have also disassociated themselves from a statement issued by the Titerroy Neighborhood Association.

For public employees, the information has been disclosed by "a minimal part of the staff" and "does not represent in any way the feeling of the majority." However, they have recognized that they demand "a series of improvements to the service", but have reflected that they have given "a reasonable time" to the UTE Tabaiba so that it listens to their demands. Among them are the heavy machinery and vehicles adapted for the best performance of our daily work.

In addition, the workers have asked to sit down and talk with the Minister of Public Works of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Jacobo Medina, as well as with the technician who carries out their service, Antonio Cárdenas, in the coming weeks, so that "although we are no longer direct workers of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, they attend to our demands and take into consideration the opinion of the service workers."

To conclude, they have highlighted that the information disseminated by other workers on the roadsides "the only thing it can do is tarnish the image of the workers who are only concerned about our job."
