The designer Oswaldo Machín presented his collection 'Heritage 2025' on March 12 at the leading bridal fashion catwalk Atelier Couture, which celebrated its eleventh edition at the Palacio de Santoña, in Madrid.

The Heritage 2025 collection features a fretwork made by the Association of Fretworkers of Ingenio, in Gran Canaria, and rosettes made by artisans from Lanzarote. It is a set of two personalized and unique pieces, with a mermaid cut.

The Minister of Crafts, Aroa Revelo, who accompanied the designer together with the Foreign Promotion technician of Proexca, Paula Hernández, highlights that "Machín's creativity and professionalism has allowed the presence of the islands on high-prestige catwalks in bridal fashion." She also considers it "essential to promote the participation of our artists so that they can show off the Canarian creations and the ideas that are born in Lanzarote and the rest of the Archipelago and present them nationally or internationally."

The day after the catwalk, a networking event was held with the rest of the Canarian designers at the Delegation of the Government of the Canary Islands in Madrid with the aim of supporting their creativity with a view to commercialization at a national and international level, offering the possibility that all participants and interested parties can collaborate with shops, boutiques and production workshops in the capital.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, together with the Minister of Crafts, Aroa Revelo, and the Minister of Industry, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, on behalf of the entire Corporation, congratulate the designer from Lanzarote.
