"Fermat's Room", "Moon in a Bottle", "Chaotic Ana", "Suso's Tower" and "Solitude" are the feature films selected to represent "big" cinema in the eighth edition of the Lanzarote Film Festival, which will feature the presence of directors, actors, screenwriters, technicians and producers. The screening of these films will take place between March 31 and April 4 in the Buñuel Hall of the El Almacén Island Culture Center, at 11:00 a.m. in the morning session, and at 8:30 p.m. in the evening session.
The feature film screening will begin on Monday, April 31, with "Fermat's Room", a diabolical game sprinkled with spontaneous and intelligent humorous ingredients that constitutes the debut film of its directors, Luis Piedrahíta and Rodrigo Sopeña, who will be present at the Buñuel cinema.
On Tuesday, April 1, the screening of "Moon in a Bottle" is scheduled, directed by Eduardo Giménez Rojo "Grojo", which has featured Edu Soto, the popular Neng, and Amín Alí as Sound Director. All three team members will attend the screening and the subsequent talk-colloquium.
On Wednesday, April 2, it will be the turn of "Chaotic Ana", the latest work by Julio Medem. In this case, the film will be supported by the presence of its producer, Koldo Zuazua, the co-producer, Sebastián Álvarez, and the leading actress, Manuela Vellés.
On Thursday, April 3, the MCL will have Malena Alterio and Tom Fernández as guests, actress and director, respectively, of "Suso's Tower", a sensitive mix of drama, comedy, good script and good actors that stars Javier Cámara.
Finally, on Friday, April 4, the screening of "Solitude" will take place, winner of the Goya for Best Film. With it and with the awards ceremony, the Lanzarote Film Festival will close. Its actors Sonia Almarcha and José Luis Torrijo will be the guests of this day and those in charge of exchanging impressions with the attending public, on this occasion and as an exception, in the Theater Hall of the Multicines Atlántida of Arrecife.
