Las Vacilonas, Intoxicados, Simplones, Los Tabletuos and Desahuciados will be the murgas that will be in the final of the Arrecife Comic Carnival Contest, according to the jury's verdict announced on Tuesday night. The final of the contest will be held on Friday, at 9 p.m., at the Fairgrounds and will feature a performance by the musical group Vocal Siete.
In the second phase of the contest, held this Tuesday, Las Pijoletas, Las Inadaptadas, Las Enraladas and Los Intoxicados performed, lavishing art and color in the presence of more than 1,000 attendees, including the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, and a large part of the municipal corporation.
In addition, while the jury deliberated the verdict, attendees were able to enjoy and laugh with the performance of the comedian Iván el Bastonero.
At the end of the performances, the awards for Best Design, Fantasy and Costumes were also announced. The first place went to the murga Los Simplones, the second to Los Desahuciados and the third to Los Intoxicados. Las Vacilonas took the award for Best Presentation.
