The company in charge of managing the water supply of Lanzarote, Canal Gestión, has reported on its website water cuts in 17 towns on the island this Wednesday.
In the municipality of Haría, Maguez, Arrieta and Punta Mujeres have dawned this day without water supply. For its part, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the only town that does not have water is Montaña Blanca.
In Teguise, the towns that also do not have supply are Los Valles, Las Nieves, Guatiza, Muñique, Tiagua and Soo. With regard to La Graciosa, Caleta de Sebo and Pedro Barba do not have water this Wednesday.
As for the municipality of Tinajo, Mancha Blanca and Tinguatón are also without water. In the southern part of the island, the residents of Mácher also do not have a water supply, as does the area of the town of Yaiza and Uga.
According to a neighbor, Canal Gestión has reported that this shortage is due to "the machines suffered a breakdown last night", which has affected towns in six of the seven municipalities of Lanzarote.
