In the whole Archipelago, there are 132 groups that are in confinement, with 894 students and 189 teachers with coronavirus

Lanzarote currently has 4 educational groups in confinement, with 40 students and 11 teachers with coronavirus, as reported by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands.

In the Canary Islands as a whole, there are a total of 132 groups that are in confinement due to the detection of a positive coronavirus case among their teachers and/or students. This represents 0.7% of the total, since in the Archipelago there are about 17,000 groups in public, subsidized and private centers.

Active cases among teachers currently total 189, out of more than 31,000 teachers working in the Canary Islands.

On the other hand, the Archipelago currently has, according to data provided by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands, a total of 894 students with a positive diagnosis of coronavirus, out of more than 335,000 enrolled in the Canary Islands.
