Lanzarote did not register any positive cases of Covid-19 this Wednesday. During this past day, samples from 495 people were analyzed, all of them testing negative. The number of tests has increased considerably because many of them are pre-surgical, "following recommendations from scientific societies, PCRs are done on almost all patients before operating on them", according to health sources.
The active cases of Covid-19 remain at three, two women who are on the floor of the Molina Orosa hospital and the passenger in home care. There are 77 people who have been discharged and six who have died since the health crisis began.
