Lanzarote has once again added another 8 positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which 8 discharges have also been reported. The figure coincides with that of the previous day, but is above the previous days, when between 3 and 4 cases were being reported daily.

The accumulated incidence has thus begun to rise slightly and stands at 28.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days -two and a half points more than the day before- and 76.4 in 14 days, with an increase of almost one and a half points compared to Thursday.

Regarding the number of tests, 303 were carried out the previous day, below the previous days.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,656 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 6,562 have already overcome the disease and 51 have died. The active cases stand at 44, the same as on Thursday, as the eight new cases have been offset by the discharges.
