Lanzarote has added 42 positive cases of Covid in the last day, compared to only 12 the previous day. However, the active cases have once again registered a significant decrease and the Ministry of Health places them this Monday at 584, since it has notified 692 discharges. In this way, this figure begins to reflect a situation closer to the real one, as the data of many patients who have already overcome the disease is being updated.
In relation to the tests carried out, in the previous day a total of 220 were carried out, a figure slightly higher than that of Saturday, when only 169 were carried out.
Regarding the accumulated incidence, it has dropped six points compared to the previous day and is at 169.43 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days. At 14 days it is at 378.66, ten points less than on Sunday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 18,921 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 18,269 have already overcome the disease and 68 have died.
