Lanzarote has added another 204 positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which only 50 discharges have been reported on the island. Active cases have thus risen again and the Health Department places them this Monday at 4,540, although there may be a delay in the communication of discharges.
As for the number of tests, only 555 were done in Lanzarote the day before, which is the lowest figure since this sixth wave broke out. In addition, almost 40% of those tests were positive, which continues to skyrocket that indicator.
Meanwhile, the cumulative incidence has decreased slightly at 7 days but has risen again at 14 days. The first is this Monday at 1,483 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the second at 2,676.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 13,357 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 8,761 have already overcome the disease and 57 have died, the last one this weekend.
