Health has reported 204 new positive cases of Covid in the last 24 hours in Lanzarote. This is the second highest number of new cases in a single day throughout the pandemic, behind last December 24, when 227 new positive cases were reported.
Active cases stand at 1,460, after 65 discharges were reported. Therefore, Lanzarote continues to break records of active cases, and currently has the highest number in the entire pandemic. Arrecife is the municipality that concentrates the most, with a total of 1,115.
The accumulated incidence at 7 days continues to grow until reaching 660.41 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. At 14 days it is already at 937.03 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Regarding the tests carried out, this Monday 1,518 were done, a higher amount than the previous day, when 936 were done.
From the Health Area of Lanzarote they have reported that currently there are 10 people with Covid admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital, all of them in the plant enabled for patients with coronavirus. The ICU remains empty.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,335 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 7,822 have already overcome the disease and 55 have died.
