Lanzarote adds 19 positive cases of Covid in the last day

Active cases have risen again to 89 on the island

Lanzarote registers 19 positive cases of Covid in the last day, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Active cases have risen again to 89 after only six medical discharges were registered in the last 24 hours.

The cumulative incidence at seven days is 50.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it rises to 82.2.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,204 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 7,064 have already overcome the disease and 52 have died.

This Wednesday almost 300 PCR tests have been carried out, compared to almost 390 that were carried out the previous day.
