Lanzarote has added 171 positive cases of Covid-19 in the last day, in which 460 discharges have also been reported. Active cases have thus decreased considerably on the island, and Health places them this Friday at 6,229.
However, the day before, the number of tests carried out fell again, so the positivity has increased again. Specifically, 698 tests were carried out, compared to almost a thousand on Wednesday, when 201 positives were detected.
Regarding the accumulated incidence, at 7 days it has dropped 146 points, to 1,201 cases per 100,000 inhabitants; while at 14 days it is at 2,991, which represents a decrease of 71 points.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 17,305 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 11,013 have already overcome the disease and 64 have died, 10 of them in this last wave.
