María Teresa Campos has died at the age of 82 this Tuesday morning after being admitted to the Fundación Jiménez Díaz last Sunday in a "very serious condition" and with "an acute respiratory failure", as reported by the hospital on behalf of her family members. The veteran journalist has died after a long period with a delicate state of health.
The communicator was seen in Lanzarote during some of her vacations. Her last visit to the island was on the occasion of the celebration of New Year's Eve and the beginning of 2017. Campos and her ex-partner 'Bigote' Arrocet traveled to the Canary Islands to enjoy a few days in one of the luxury villas of the Meliá Salinas hotel, located in the tourist town of Costa Teguise.
In addition, the journalist and the comedian went to the shops in the area of Las Cucharas beach, and specifically were seen in the Fund Grube of Costa Teguise.
