The event was attended by the commissioner and curator of the Casa Museo del Timple, Benito Cabrera, and the Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Teguise, Olivia Duque, who was presented with a record by Josele del Pino himself.
At the end of the concert, the artist signed several copies and allowed himself to be photographed with everyone who asked, showing himself friendly and close to the public who attended the presentation of his first work, "Por los timples de mis manos".
Musical career
Josele del Pino, a young promise of the timple in the Canary Islands, began his musical training at the age of 16 with the guitar, at the Music School of Villa de la Orotava.
It was at that moment when he met the performer, musician, composer and producer Benito Cabrera, and began to receive timple lessons with him for almost 10 years.
Later, he entered the Higher Conservatory of Music of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to continue his guitar studies, concluding his training with outstanding academic grades. However, he decided to delve into the instrument that most caught his attention: the timple.
Josele del Pino has always been linked to folklore through participation in various groups, as a component and musical director of some of them, such as the Magec group and the Acorán Cultural Association. In addition, he is part of Los Sabandeños as a timple player and "contrista" since 2006 and is a member of the Canary Islands Timple Orchestra.
