Health notifies another death of a patient with Covid in Lanzarote

It is an 83-year-old man who was admitted to the ward at the Molina Orosa Hospital

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported this Thursday a new death of a patient with Covid in Lanzarote, which is the third consecutive since Tuesday, and the sixth in just over two weeks.

After the communication from the Ministry of Health, the Molina Orosa Hospital had indicated to La Voz that they were not aware of this death, although they have later confirmed it, stating that it was an 83-year-old man who was admitted to the ward.

The previous death had been reported on the previous day, and it was an 87-year-old woman who suffered from previous pathologies.

With this, there are 60 deaths registered in Lanzarote since the beginning of the pandemic.
