Once again, Fuerteventura will be present at the Enogastronomic Festival 'Saborea Lanzarote', which will be held in Teguise next weekend, November 25 and 26. This was stated by the first vice president and Minister of Tourism of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Blas Acosta, during the presentation of this event, which took place this Thursday at the Hotel El Mirador de Fuerteventura and which was attended by the Minister of Economic Promotion of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Antonio Morales, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, José Juan Herrera.
In this sense, Acosta applauded the Lanzarote initiative, "which has become an unmissable event with the gastronomy of all the Canary Islands and which has, year after year, a great success of participation." "We are very pleased that our gastronomic products, our restaurateurs and producers have an important space in this forum, which is a fundamental support for the sector," he said.

For his part, the Minister of Economic Promotion of the Lanzarote Council, Antonio Morales, thanked Fuerteventura for its support and insisted on the need to "join efforts between both neighboring islands to contribute to the impulse that the primary sector deserves", while vindicating "the strength of traditional gastronomy in all the Canary Islands and its role as a fundamental element of attraction for travelers to the tourist destination".
Morales also invited the residents of Fuerteventura to travel to Lanzarote next Saturday, November 25 "to enjoy a great day with the family and learn, in a different way, about our varied gastronomy and our traditions." The councilor thanked Naviera Armas and Líneas Romero for their sponsorship, who will give their travelers food vouchers to exchange at the festival and free bus transfers from the respective ports to the Villa de Teguise.
Culinary demonstrations
The presentation of the Festival in Fuerteventura also included several culinary demonstrations. Thus, the young chef of the Hotel El Mirador, former parador of Fuerteventura, Yarely Pérez, prepared an evocative dish 'Warm hummus of Lanzarote lentils with sardine'. For their part, the chefs Simone Paglia and Nicoló Pippa from the 722º Lajares restaurant, prepared several creations such as the 'Deconstruction of Majorero cheeses' and 'Meatball of Canarian stew', where they integrated Italian cuisine with Majorera cuisine. Finally, Ernesto Palomar, from the La Rebotica restaurant in Lanzarote, presented a delicious 'Tuna tartare with mango and avocado cubes with a rain of marine plankton and sweet potato chips'.

These rich and suggestive dishes can also be tasted at the Enogastronomic Festival 'Saborea Lanzarote', which will have a space dedicated to the Canary Islands and where each island will be represented by one or more restaurateurs who will present their culinary proposals focused on a specific product, such as the bananas of La Palma, the colored potatoes of Tenerife, the cheeses of El Hierro and Fuerteventura, the palm honey of La Gomera, the sweet potato of jable of Lanzarote and the bonito of Gran Canaria.
The festival, which will be presented in Lanzarote next Tuesday, will also feature a full program of activities that includes tasty product and wine tastings, showcookings, demonstrations, conferences, workshops, tasting and pairing courses, contests, children's activities, among others.
