The Drag Gala filled Playa Blanca on Friday. The artists took to a Venetian stage, where they displayed their fantasy, good music, humor, choreography and costumes. The public packed the town square to enjoy the first carnival night in the south.

The drags returned to the Playa Blanca Carnival after several years of absence and once again conquered the attendees. The exit of María Jesús Álvarez, Queen of the Third Age of Yaiza, ignited the atmosphere.

To the rhythm of music, she paraded across the stage dressed in fantasy and accompanied by a group of dancers. After that, the Dance Pop ballet burst in to display a choreography, "which captivated the audience", according to a statement from the Yaiza City Council. In this gala there was also time for the humor of the comedian Dani Alés, who performed several monologues on everyday topics.

The first drag to take the stage was "Semiramis", with her fantasy "Queen Mother". After him, "Zanjairo" went up, with his fantasy "A Gozar", and "Derrimys" with "The Grandiosity of the Marine Legend". The latter received a great applause from the public after communicating through sign language because he is deaf-mute. Later, Ikaro, a drag guest from Las Palmas, took the stage.

During the gala, "Lanzarote Got Talent" also performed, singing songs such as "Music has no color" or "She asks for more". "Lanzarote Got Talent" invited the singer Foncho to share the stage, "a triumphant in Spain and Latin America from the Canary Islands to the tip of hip hop, Latin and tropical music", according to the Yaiza City Council.

To finish, the winner of the drag gala of the Arrecife Carnival, Xoul, performed, who presented himself with the fantasy "Passage to India". The five transvestites took to the stage together, where they received a strong applause from the public.
