The Merseyside Police has confirmed to La Voz that the 28-year-old English tourist who traveled to the island on November 20 and of whom there was no trace is no longer on the list of missing persons.
"The man has been found," investigation sources told La Voz. However, the agents do not offer more information about whether the traveler was located in Lanzarote or abroad.
The last time his family had seen Joseph Howard was on November 20 at 8:00 in the morning in the town of Knowskey, in the county of Merseyside in England. That same day he had a scheduled flight in the afternoon to travel to Lanzarote.
Some witnesses contacted La Voz de Lanzarote to offer images in which a young man of slim build, green eyes and short brown hair was seen circulating through Punta Mujeres and where some people claimed that it was Joseph Howard. All the information was transferred by this editorial team to the British Police to help in the course of the investigation.
