The Disney factory has chosen Gran Canaria as the venue for the national premiere of its latest show 'Disney Live! Mickey's Magic', which will begin on September 11 at the Insular Sports Center of the capital of Gran Canaria and will last until the 21st of the same month.
With a cost of four million euros, covered with the collaboration of the Canary Islands Government, the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the capital's City Council, and the participation of 75 people, 25 directly in the show that will last an hour and a half, it is presented as a "novel, participatory and family" event, according to José Luis Langa, director of the production company responsible for this national tour.
Disney Live stages the magic of the legendary films of this multinational company through the participation of all the best-known characters together with professional illusionists. The stage they need occupies 50 percent of the total surface area of the Gran Canarian pavilion, which, according to Langa, ensures "that young and old alike will have an unforgettable time".
Tickets for this show, which arrives in Gran Canaria directly from the United States and will visit five more Spanish cities from here, cost between 20 and 27 euros. Tickets can already be purchased at the box office of a national department store and the sales rate "is quite good so far". Gran Canaria ranks first in the number of tickets sold among all the cities where they are going to be offered, with 9,000.
This circumstance has motivated the organizers, together with the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Autonomous Government and the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, to consider the possibility of extending the number of performances by four. At the moment, 14 performances are planned, which will be distributed between September 11 and 21.
