A devoted audience accompanied the parade of candidates throughout the night, whose transformation and characterization could be followed on giant screens placed on the stage, whose set design was created by Luis Acuña, an employee of the Tías City Council.

The jury decided that the band, in the XL category, of Gay Goddess Canaria would go to Eli Santana, while Daniela Castro won the scepter in the S category. Assia Saik, in the XL category, and Marianne Tobar, were the winners of the Gay Goddess Canaria Lanzarote band.
Dayana Carque, in the XL category, and Indara Martín, in the S category, were proclaimed Gay Goddess Canaria Puerto del Carmen, while Emily Dahuson in XL, and Andrea Casablanca in S were designated first ladies of honor and Yuleisi Martín in XL and Caterine Gallardo in S were chosen as second ladies of honor.

This gala, included at the request of the members of the La Tiñosa Festival Committee, was developed within the program of the festivities in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, which has included more than 80 different activities this year.
