A lively parade will inaugurate this Saturday the IV Cultural Week of Costa Teguise, organized by the Cultural Association "Cortijo del Majo" and with the collaboration of the departments of Culture and Tourism of the Teguise City Council.
This Cultural Week is full of leisure proposals aimed not only at the residents of Costa Teguise, some 7,000 residents, but also at the tourists who visit the town these days. As usual, this neighborhood group prepares talks and workshops in the program of activities, as well as sports championships.
One of the star events will arrive on Sunday the 20th, with the participation of the association in a new fair on the occasion of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples. It should be remembered that, coinciding with this celebration, a popular and varied market is held every year in the Pueblo Marinero, where you can enjoy the gastronomy, music or traditions of some of the countries that have a prominent citizen representation in Costa Teguise.
"It is an excellent opportunity to organize our own activities, very focused on the many young people who live in Costa Teguise," says Mariluz Mayo, president of the association.
