César Manrique's work will once again be present in the roundabout that bears his name. The 'Wind Toy' has begun to be installed again in its old location, after almost ten months of absence. And Manrique's mobiles also suffered the consequences of the tropical storm Delta.

The serious damage suffered by the mobile meant that a new axle had to be ordered from the Basque Country, according to Sergio Machín, Minister of Public Works. "When it was brought here, the axle suffered some damage and we had to take it to Puerto Naos to fix it with a tourniquet that is there for boats".

The Minister of Public Works has also stated that the one in Montaña Blanca has already been installed, which also suffered damage from Delta. "César's work is a benchmark and what we are doing is continuing that work with the same materials that he used".
