The bullring of the Enchanted Carnival of Arrecife has taken this Monday the Rambla Medular filling it with music and color. A parade in which 30 floats, 29 carnival groups including murgas, batucadas and comparsas, and thousands of masked people have participated.
The great carnival parade started at 6:00 p.m. from the Ciudad Deportiva, to go through the Vía Medular and end at the Recinto Ferial. The Queen of the Carnival of this year, María Cedrés, and the Reinona, Drag Noa, were also present. As it happened the previous year, the carnival groups paraded first, followed by the floats.
Costumes for all tastes, even a double of the mayor and councilor of Festivities of Arrecife, Eva de Anta and David Duarte strolled through the bullring. Juan Medina "Charlotte", after 33 years participating in these parties, stated emphatically that "the Carnival always goes well, no matter how much they put, it is a party that always works".
The Plaza de El Almacén and the area of the Real Club Náutico will be again the scene this Monday of the mogollones, which will extend until late at night. The carnestolendas will come to an end on Wednesday, with the burial of the sardine, although before you can enjoy this Tuesday the Children's Carnivalito, which will start at 17:30 hours in the Recito Ferial.
