A new boat has been located this Saturday morning in waters near Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

About 22 people could be traveling in the boat and are being transferred by Maritime Rescue to Puerto Naos where they will be assisted by the Red Cross.

The boat was detected by the SIVE of the Las Palmas Command at 06:38 island time, about 19 nautical miles east of Costa Teguise, island of Lanzarote

With this, there are four precarious boats that have been attended to in Lanzarote. In total, about 187 people have arrived on the island, including women and children, of Maghreb and sub-Saharan origin.
