Another boat intercepted north of Lanzarote

Among the occupants of the boat are 41 men, 11 women and six children, four of them babies

 A new boat with 58 immigrants on board has been intercepted this Sunday, January 8, as reported by Maritime Rescue. 

The last boat was spotted around 9:45 a.m. this Sunday, north of Lanzarote, with 58 sub-Saharan immigrants on board, 41 of them men, eleven women and six children, four of whom are babies.

The immigrants have been rescued by the Salvamar Al Nair, which is taking them to the Commercial dock, where they are scheduled to arrive at 11:10 local time.

This would be the third boat rescued in the last 12 hours. In total, 142 people have been rescued by Maritime Rescue.
