Aemet extends wind and wave warnings in Lanzarote to Tuesday

The island will be on alert for coastal phenomena and on pre-alert for wind

Yellow warning activated for swell for Friday due to waves of up to four meters

The State Meteorological Agency has extended the orange warning for waves and the yellow warning for wind in Lanzarote to Tuesday.

Both will be activated this Monday, when rain is also expected, although of less intensity, and will remain for at least two days.

Both days there is a forecast of wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, although the yellow warning is scheduled to end at 12 noon on Tuesday.

Regarding coastal phenomena, the warning will be orange from noon on Monday until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, changing from there to a yellow warning. In the first half of the day, waves of 5 to 6 meters are expected and then between 4 and 5 meters.

The Aemet also announces rain during practically the entire week, although in this case there are no active warnings.
