The State Meteorological Agency has activated several warnings for next Monday in Lanzarote, which will be on alert for coastal phenomena and on pre-alert for wind. In addition, rain is also expected, although in principle there is no warning for precipitation, as it will be of a "moderate" but "persistent" nature, according to forecasts.
For its part, the Canarian Government has established an alert for all the islands from 6:00 p.m. on Sunday for wind and waves, although Aemet predicts that the storm will arrive in Lanzarote on Monday.
The orange warning for coastal phenomena from the State Meteorological Agency will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, although another yellow warning will be activated from 12:00 p.m. In the early hours of the day, waves of 4 to 5 meters are expected and from mid-afternoon they could reach up to 6 meters.
As for the wind, the yellow warning will begin at 9 in the morning and will be active throughout the day, with a forecast of gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
Temperatures are also expected to drop on that day, with highs of 20 degrees in Arrecife and lows of 11.
