A boat and an inflatable boat rescued en route to Lanzarote

A total of 81 people have been rescued, including four women and one minor.

Maritime Rescue has rescued the occupants of two precarious vessels traveling towards Lanzarote this Monday morning, around 8:50 a.m.

According to the Emergency Coordination Center, there were 35 people in the inflatable boat, 34 men and one woman. All of them of sub-Saharan origin and in apparent good health.

The rescue of the inflatable boat was carried out by the Salvamar Al Nair ten nautical miles southeast of Arrecife. The Salvamar will arrive at the dock at 09.50 hours.

Likewise, a second boat, a type of pater, has also been rescued. There were 46 people on board, 41 men, three women and one minor. In this case, all the citizens were of Maghreb origin. This second rescue, carried out minutes after the first, took place 36 nautical miles northeast of Arrecife. The Guardamar Polimnia intervened in it.
