Public Works of the Cabildo announces several traffic detours on the LZ-1 road, which connects the capital with the northern town of Órzola, due to the works that will be carried out in terms of road conservation, which aim to improve the conditions of the road, thus ensuring users a safe driving experience.
The vice president of the Island Corporation and Minister of Public Works, Jacobo Medina, indicates that the cut of the LZ-1 will only occur in the increasing direction, that is, from Arrecife to Órzola, while the opposite direction will remain open to traffic. "From the Cabildo of Lanzarote we work to improve the infrastructure of the island, in order to ensure a good quality of life for the population," says the councilor.
Due to these maintenance tasks, traffic will be temporarily directed towards the LZ-42 at the Guatiza junction towards Mala. These cuts will occur from June 10 to 14, between 08:00 and 14:00 hours.
From the Cabildo, users of the road are asked to respect the signage and drive with caution to ensure road safety.
