By means of this announcement, it is made public that the Plenary of the Haría City Council, in an ordinary session held on May 16, 2025, adopted, among others, the agreement to initially approve the minor modification of the General Urban Planning Plan of Haría.
Section 1.2 of the Report of this Planning Modification expresses the objectives of this modification:
- Adjustment of the detailed planning of the core of Haría to the 1:1,000 cartography of the Government of the Canary Islands,
- Modification of the regulations of some blocks in the town of Haría: from Isolated to Aligned to Road construction, reduction of the minimum plot: it will aim to reduce the minimum plot, facilitating the creation of new buildings, but in a way that does not lose the characteristics of the core.
For this purpose, a set of provisions is stipulated that adapt more specifically to the characteristics of the core and planning of the general systems area with allocation of uses to the different plots and provision of free spaces to the extent necessary to solve the needs created by the new population...”
In that plenary session, it is also agreed to open a period of public information for a period of forty-five business days from the day following the publication of this announcement in this Official Gazette of the Canary Islands No. 122 dated June 20, 2025, so that those who may have an interest in said file may appear and formulate any allegations, suggestions or claims they deem appropriate.
The file will be available at the City Hall located in Plaza de la Constitución, No. 1. C.P. 35520 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
