Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Lanzarote Water Consortium report that "at this time only the towns of Montaña Blanca, Güime, La Degollada and Uga, lack drinking water supply".
The company reminds that "this situation is caused by the low levels of reserves that are registered in the storage tanks that provide service in these areas. It is expected that throughout the day the supply can be restored in these towns depending on the recovery of the storage and that will always depend on the demand of consumption and possible incidents that may arise".
Canal informs that "the Tías and Mácher areas are registering anomalies in the supply, especially related to low force or pressure, as a consequence of the pressure management maneuvers that are still being carried out to optimize the available flows in the most critical areas".
"It is necessary to remember that, apart from the circumstances described, there are other incidents due to small breakdowns and programmed maneuvers that could cause some momentary alteration in the supply of specific streets, but that are limited to daily and habitual management", he adds.
Finally, Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium "regret the situation that the supply of Lanzarote and La Graciosa is suffering, showing the firm commitment to be working and putting all possible resources to channel solutions to existing structural problems in the short to medium term, as far as possible".
