There is no news about Yéremi Vargas Suárez, the boy who disappeared at noon last Saturday in Vecindario, south of Gran Canaria.
Although the accumulated fatigue is beginning to be noticed among the personnel carrying out the search efforts to locate the child, no one has stopped working on the search for the child.
Last night, again, a little more than 500 people, including Civil Protection, Civil Guard, Local Police and groups of citizens who want to help find Yéremi, worked tirelessly. So far there are no reliable clues about the whereabouts of the 7-year-old.
Juan Jernónimo García, Civil Protection Coordinator in Santa Lucía, in statements to ACN Press, said today that "we have no news from Yéremi. Last night the same, we worked in the Vecindario Center and nothing, because at night, outside, in the surroundings you cannot go out due to the danger of people who collaborate getting hurt. During the day we can reach more places."
Regarding the activity planned for today, García stated that "from 9:30 a.m. we will have a meeting with the security councilor and the mayor, to mark another strategy, to see what we do today."
Juan Jerónimo García pointed out that "when the afternoon falls, more people arrive who want to find Yéremi and want to lend their help to achieve it."
Today begins another day of 'hard work'. A job that the Civil Protection Coordinator in Santa Lucía assured that "will not cease until we find the child."
