A 29-year-old woman was slightly injured in a collision between two vehicles that took place on Tuesday night on Aires de Lima Street in Arrecife.
After being alerted by the Cecoes around 11:08 p.m., the firefighters went to the scene of the accident, verifying upon arrival that the passenger of one of the vehicles was trapped inside due to the deformation of the doors. Thus, the firefighters proceeded to put a cervical collar on her and carry out the extrication maneuvers for her extraction.
Once out of the vehicle, the firefighters collaborated with the health services in her transfer to the ambulance and disconnected the vehicle's battery. As confirmed by Cecoes, the affected woman presented with mild cervicalgia and was transferred by basic life support ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition to the Consortium firefighters and the SUC paramedics, the Local Police also intervened.
