National Police agents have arrested in Arrecife two men aged 22 and 27, both with police records for similar events, as alleged perpetrators of a violent robbery.
According to the National Police, a call was received on the 091 telephone number from a woman reporting that at that moment two individuals were trying to commit a violent robbery in the brewery where she worked. In a moment of distraction from these, the woman managed to hide the telephone under the bar and dial 091.
Upon realizing the telephone call, the two individuals left the place running in the direction of the Rambla Medular of Arrecife, where they were finally located thanks to the physical characteristics provided to the agents by the establishment's worker.
She narrated to them how two men entered the premises and, taking advantage of the fact that there were no more customers at that time, told her we are going to rob you, give us the money or we will take it ourselves.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
