The Civil Guard of Costa Teguise investigated last January 19 two residents of the municipality of Teguise as alleged perpetrators of a crime of misappropriation, having kept one with three hunting rifles and the other with three Canarian Podenco dogs without the permission of the legitimate owners.
The police investigations of the agents of the Citizen Service Area began with the complaint on January 9 of the legitimate owner of the aforementioned goods, which were owned by a family member who recently died, and to whom they belonged as an heir according to the Civil Code.
Based on the information provided in the complaint and the police investigations carried out later, the Civil Guard located the alleged perpetrators of the misappropriation, seizing the three hunting rifles that belonged to the deceased person and as many dogs, over which they did not have legitimate ownership. Thus, they were investigated for the aforementioned crime, remaining at the disposal of the corresponding Investigating Court, on guard duty, of Arrecife.
