The Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce today held the closing ceremony for the 12th Edition of the Business Consolidation Mentoring Program and the 2nd Edition of the Canarias Expande Program, two initiatives aimed at supporting the consolidation and expansion of companies in the island region.
Both programs are funded by the General Directorate for Economic Promotion and Diversification of the Canary Islands Government's Ministry of Economy, Industry, Trade, and Self-Employed, reaffirming the institutional commitment to strengthening the business fabric of the islands.
The event was inaugurated by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, José Valle, who highlighted the importance of these types of initiatives "that accompany companies at key moments of their development and provide them with tools to grow and adapt to an increasingly demanding business environment".
The Business Consolidation Mentoring Program, known as Consolídate, is aimed at newly created companies and seeks to strengthen their market positioning, improve their competitiveness, and foster sustainable growth.
Meanwhile, the Canarias Expande program offers personalized advice to companies wishing to undertake expansion processes, helping them manage strategic changes in key business areas and adapt to new market demands
The event was conceived as a professional gathering to celebrate the effort, learning, and growth of local entrepreneurship, and featured three presentations by experts. Ricardo Gopar, director of the Canarias Expande program, gave the presentation “Expansión con fundamento” (Expansion with Foundation); Alejandro Ramos, director of the Business Consolidation Tutoring Program, addressed “El ADN emprendedor” (The Entrepreneurial DNA); and Rudy Bormans, a consultant specializing in Business and Executive programs, closed the session with the presentation “Crecer por dentro para crecer fuera” (Growing Inside to Grow Outside).
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas to the participating companies in both initiatives, recognizing their effort, commitment, and utilization of the programs
From the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, the importance of continuing to promote training and business support actions that contribute to consolidating a stronger, more competitive economic fabric prepared to face new challenges is emphasized.
