A worker has been left unconscious after falling into a cistern while working on a hotel under construction in Costa Teguise, in the town of Teguise.
According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the alert was issued around 9:30 a.m. this Thursday. The incident took place at the construction site of a hotel under construction, at the entrance to Los Ancones.
The manager of the Security and Emergencies Consortium, Enrique Espinosa, narrated that the cistern was about eight meters high, that the worker fell inside it, and that firefighters had to break bars to be able to rescue him.
