The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Yaiza arrested two people last December 31, initials K.D. and A.B. and of foreign nationality, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of burglary, fraud, falsification of a public document and a crime against road safety.

The agents, carrying out a citizen security check, stopped a vehicle with two occupants, verifying that they were carrying several effects "of dubious origin". After a series of steps at the scene of the events, the Civil Guard verified that they were related to a robbery committed in the town of La Oliva, on the neighboring island of Fuerteventura.

In addition, during the identification of the occupants of the vehicle, it was verified that the driver, in addition to not having a driver's license, was carrying falsified documentation, which he allegedly used to rent the vehicle in question, which also had a complaint from the rental company that owns it, for not having been returned at the end of the contracted period.

The Civil Guard, with this action, has managed to recover a series of goods from a robbery inside a vehicle: 4 mobile phones, a watch, a music player (ipod), personal documentation, and about 300 euros in cash; in addition to intervening the false documentation carried by one of those involved. 

The two detainees, together with the proceedings carried out, were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court on duty in the town of Arrecife.
