National Police agents have arrested in Arrecife two minors, 16 and 17 years old, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force in a shop. The police officers surprised one of the arrested inside the establishment in possession of the collection.
The events were triggered after a man called the 091 telephone number reporting that he had seen two young people hitting the door of a shop in a central street of the capital of Lanzarote.
The agents who went to the place surprised one of the minors leaving the premises, which had the access door broken, and the second of them hidden inside next to the cash register of the business.
After being recognized by the witness as the alleged perpetrators, the two minors were arrested and transferred to police headquarters. In the security check, one of the young men had 227 euros intervened, which were returned to their owner.
The facts were brought to the attention of the Minors Section of the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Las Palmas, which ordered to leave both under the tutelage of those responsible for the juvenile center where they reside.
Once the corresponding police report was prepared, it was sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents attached to the Arrecife Police Station.
