The Civil Guard of the Main Post of San Bartolomé arrested on January 31 two people, with initials L.J.R.M. and C.M.R., both of Spanish nationality, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery or theft of use of vehicle and a crime against road safety. On the night of January 31, the Civil Guard received a notice about an alleged robbery that was being committed at that time in a social center in the town of Playa Honda.
The agents went to the scene and observed two people with a "suspicious" attitude in a vehicle next to a social center. The civil guards identified them and verified that the vehicle had been stolen. In addition, the driver did not have any type of driving license.
Therefore, the Civil Guard arrested both people for an alleged crime of robbery and theft of use of vehicles and for another crime against road safety. The detainees have been placed at the judicial disposal of the corresponding Court in charge of the town of Arrecife.
