Twelve people were reported by the Civil Guard in a hotel complex in Fuerteventura on Saturday night, after being found inside a room consuming alcoholic beverages and violating the rules established for the containment of Covid-19.
The Civil Guard was alerted by the staff responsible for the complex, who, according to the agents, "had already repeatedly requested compliance with the regulations from the person responsible for the room, who ignored it." Therefore, at 11 p.m., the Civil Guard went to the hotel, located in the urban center of Corralejo, and went to the room, which had been rented and was suitable for only two people.
After identifying the person responsible for the room and after carrying out the checks, they managed to evict it, identifying a total of 12 people, all of them foreign tourists, who went out to the common areas "consuming alcoholic beverages and not wearing the mandatory mask". All were proposed for the corresponding sanction for non-compliance with the prevention and containment measures against Covid-19.
