A three-year-old girl was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital on Thursday afternoon after suffering a moderate incomplete drowning in a pool in Puerto Calero.
At around 7:25 p.m., the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 received an alert reporting that a girl with symptoms of drowning had been pulled from the pool of a villa complex.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, dispatching two SUC ambulances to the scene, one medicalized and one with basic life support, as well as Local Police and Civil Guard officers.
The SUC instructed resuscitation maneuvers to the relatives, which were then continued by the medicalized ambulance personnel, managing to stabilize the minor, who was transferred to the Hospital. Local Police and Civil Guard collaborated in the resolution of the incident.
