Three people, two men and one woman, have been seriously injured in the collision of two vehicles at the exit of Costa Teguise to the north, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.
The accident took place at 2:06 p.m. this Tuesday, when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, Civil Guard, three ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service and the Emergency Consortium have traveled to the scene.
Firefighters had to release one of those affected who was trapped in one of the vehicles. The health personnel assisted a 56-year-old man who presented polytrauma, another man who also presented polytrauma and a woman who at the initial moment of assistance presented polytrauma.
Once stabilized, they have been evacuated in ambulances to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
For its part, the Civil Guard has been in charge of regulating traffic on the road and has carried out the corresponding report.
