National Police agents have arrested two men, aged 23 and 32, and a woman, 30, all of Albanian nationality, at Lanzarote airport after attempting to board a plane to the United Kingdom, identifying themselves with false Italian identity cards. Their Albanian passports were found among their belongings.
The events unfolded when several passengers identified themselves at the Lanzarote airport with Italian identity cards of dubious origin. The police officers verified that it was false documentation, so they proceeded to arrest them as alleged perpetrators of a crime of document forgery. Their Albanian passports were found among their belongings.
Once the corresponding report was prepared, it was sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents assigned to the Arrecife Police Station.
